2010 Theme: Pass the Salt
We are told by Jesus that we need to be the salt of the earth. Salt has many uses
such as a food flavoring; a preservative; a cleansing agent; a healing agent. In
essence, salt is a change agent. Jesus wants us to be change agents in the world
where we live. As believers we have the salt of the gospel in our lives. It is urgent
that we take this salt and pass it to others so that they can believe on Jesus and be
changed.
Spiritual Emphasis: The Urgency of Intentional Evangelism.
People are lost without the Savior. Life is short. We must intentionally
reach others with the news of the Gospel.
